A chiropractic adjustment is the minor movement of a joint in the spine performed by a slight pressure of the chiropractor’s hands or by an instrument. The goal of an adjustment is to establish motion in an area that is not moving well. This restricted motion can occur for a number of reasons ranging from normal daily activity to trauma, such as a car accident. You may hear a noise that sounds like you are cracking your knuckles when you get adjusted. This sound is referred to as joint cavitation. That noise is the release of gases such as oxygen and nitrogen from the joint. Current research supports that chiropractic is a safe and effective method in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Some of these conditions include low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines, and many more.

Nutrition response testing is used to detect nutritional deficiencies or sensitivities that can be contributing to a patient’s discomfort. During nutritional response testing, the doctor contacts various reflex points on the body while simultaneously testing the strength of the patient's extended arm. These reflex points, which correspond to various regions of the body, are based on acupuncture points. If the doctor contacts a specific reflex point where the extended arm becomes weak, he then knows the likely nutritional deficits in the body. Our office offers Standard Process whole food supplements and MediHerb herbal supplements to address these needs for our patients.

Class IV Laser Therapy is used for the relief of pain, to accelerate healing and decrease inflammation. When light source is placed against the skin, photons penetrate several centimeters down and are absorbed in the mitochondria (the energy producing part of the cell).
This Energy results in the restoration of normal cell function. The main goal of laser therapy is to stimulate the cell to perform its natural functions, but at an enhanced rate.
Clinical studies show that Class IV Laser Therapy achieves excellent outcomes in wound healing, reduction of inflammation and side-effect pain relief.
